Get Testimonials is a product of Simple Business Suite, built on a simple observation: praise is easy to fake, so buyers have learned to discount it. The testimonials that still persuade are the ones a buyer can check.
Why we built it
Testimonial software made collecting easy years ago. What it never did was document anything. A quote appears on a website with a name and a star rating, and nothing behind it: no consent, no record of when it was given, no way to tell a real customer from a copywriter. Meanwhile the rules tightened. The FTC’s 2024 rule on reviews and testimonials put real penalties behind fake or undisclosed testimonials, and buyers got better at spotting manufactured praise.
So we built the tool around proof. Every submission captures a signed consent and video release. Every testimonial carries a verification level that says exactly what was checked. Every badge opens a public verify page. The collection workflow stays as simple as the tools you know, one link, one inbox, one embed. The difference is what stands behind the wall of love.
